Frog Hollow Dive Team
About the Team
Frog Hollow offers a Dive Team program for any children ranging in age from 5 to 18, no prior dive experience required. We will work with new divers on their technique and form in order to ensure they're competition ready. Since 2017, no new diver that's joined our team has been left out of the Championships competition due to lack of ability. In 2024, the dive team won their league Championships 1st place trophy for the first time since 2009.
Our Program
Our team practices 2-3 times a week during the months of June and July, either in the morning or at night. Throughout the month of July, we have 6 meets scheduled on either Mondays or Thursdays held at our home pool or one of our competitors. Our season culminates at our League Championships typically held the last Thursday of July.
Coaches
Coach Sonny and Coach Sara have been coaching the team since 2017. Both Sonny and Sara have been members of Frog Hollow and involved with the team from a young age and were excited to come back and get involved again, helping to instruct and create a new generation of divers. When not working around the club, Sonny and Sara can be found lingering around the diving boards, assisting current team members and trying to recruit new ones.
